The Muddy Buddies 2022 Run is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 14 at Choctaw Creek Park. This is the second annual event for Muddy Buddies and promises a great time for humans and their canines. Runners and their dogs will complete a challenging obstacle course which includes crawling through mud and splashing across creeks. Register now at muddy- buddiesrun.com! The 39th annual Redbud Classic is scheduled for April 2–3, 2022, and in- cludes a one-mile Woof Walk this year. It also includes a 10/30-mile cycling tour, a two-mile walk, a two-mile baby stroller derby, and much more. It finishes off with the Redbud Bash after-party. You sure don’t want to miss the fun! Find out more information at redbud.org. And who, you ask, is the sweet dog on this cover? She’s the beloved eight- year-old Golden of Louisa McCune and family. Her registered name is Pumpkin Hollow’s Heart of Saturday Night, and her call name is Margaret. I couldn’t resist this as a cover shot! Thank you, Louisa and sons, for sharing her with us. I was amazed about the Fuzzless Wuzzies Kim Doner writes about — focusing on hairless pets. I had no idea there were so many species that are indeed Fuzzless Wuzzies. Read all about them on page 17! We love the work that Anthem Service Dogs provides! Anthem trains dogs to help people, and what a better win/win? A huge shout-out, hooray, and big high five to them. Thank you for all the good you do, and please keep up this stellar important work. I know there were an infinite number of tributes to Betty White at her passing, but Karen Holman puts a different spin on her tribute. I didn’t know a lot of the facts in Karen’s article, and she points out that Betty was truly a gem. Rest well, dear Betty. You’ve earned it.
