Owners Joe and Brandie Gitzendanner are lifelong animal lovers. With a history of taking in every stray she spotted, Brandie rescued a Shih Tzu mix that needed regular grooming. Low on cash, Brandie found herself at a grooming school. “After one trip to the grooming school, Brandie knew she wanted to be a groomer,” Joe says. She attended the Academy of Professional Dog Grooming and worked for several years at Warwick Animal Hospital before opening The Paw Spa Elite in 2007. The business grew by leaps and bounds. Today, The Paw Spa Elite has two locations to serve clients, in Mustang and on the border of OKC/Yu- kon where they strive to make their salons special. “We have the best pet stylists on staff that are highly trained, and we encourage continuing education,” Joe says. “We use high-quality products and offer many spa add-on options. Our finishing touches and free themed photos are the cherry on top.” Happy pets mean happy pet parents.
