COMMON BONDS is an Oklahoma collaboration of local, state, and national advocates working to save more animal lives. Our SHARED GOAL is to increase the live-release rate of cats and dogs in Oklahoma shelters to 90% by 2025. According to Best Friends Animal Society, Oklahoma’s 2020 SAVE RATE was 78%, and our state ranks eighth in the United States for animal euthanasia. Many communities are STEPPING UP in big ways to transform the numbers, and Common Bonds recognizes those towns and cities for MAKING A DIFFERENCE . By committing to the 90% save rate and by reporting their shelter intake and release data in the Shelter Animals Count national database, we can reach the goal. Please encourage your municipality to make a difference for the lives of shelter cats and dogs today by reporting their data. To learn more, email Common Bonds at firstname.lastname@example.org.
