The store soon moved around the corner and remained in that spot for 48 years. Though the store evolved in its merchandise and location over the years, the western spirit that Ray Tener established still reigns at Tener’s Western Outfitters. Today, Tener’s is still run by a family born and raised in Oklahoma, and owner Andy Hughes maintains the same standard of excellence that singles out Tener’s as one of Oklahoma’s western wear legends.
