Not Your Average Pet Sitter LLC Nothing but Good In fact, Both Roberson and Bynum had nothing but good things to say about the breed. “You only need a small space such as a backyard to keep a mini or two,” Roberson relayed. “And there is much less to clean and feed.” If anyone wants to work with miniature horses for the first time, Roberson recommends starting with a two-year-old or three-year-old mare or gelding. Roberson also noted that the Oklahoma Miniature Horse Club is always looking for new members and encourages anyone with a registered miniature horse to join and participate in the organization’s shows.
