So the Hockers share Pumpkin’s well-being with the public. As a result, corporations have helped with Pumpkin’s needs. Coits Food Truck donated T-shirts with Pumpkin’s baby photo on them. The farm’s gift shop sells the shirts, and all profits go toward Pumpkin’s expenses. Oklahoma Kettle Corn also has helped with her needs. And Perry Johnson, owner of Big Fish Fence Service Inc., built and donated Pumpkin’s playpen. Although Pumpkin used to walk in parades, her vet said fast walking in a parade might be difficult for her because of joint issues. So the Hockers are looking for a wheeled cart she can ride in to greet her fans during parades. “Pumpkin is special,” Dinkel said. “We want to show inclusion with her. There are children who have to wear corrective shoes or special things. Pumpkin might be different and require some extra help, but she is still important. Everybody belongs.” Attracting Agritourism Chester’s Party Barn and Farm is one of Oklahoma’s premier agritourism venues, complete with bells and whistles. Since 2000, the location has hosted more than 500,000 visitors. The enterprise hosts about 500 annual events. And every fall, 25,000 to 30,000 people arrive for the annual Chester’s Pumpkin Patch event, when you can pick what you want. Now in its twenty-second year, the pumpkin patch will be open September 23 through October 31. Of course, Pumpkin the mini horse will be in her playpen for everyone to enjoy. The farm is also home to the Chesterfield Wedding Barn, Chester & Crew Entertainment, and Chester the Clown. A professional clown, Chester Hocker portrayed Ronald McDonald from 1992 to 1997. The farm has received numerous accolades. Oklahoma Agritourism chose the farm as the venue for the Oklahoma Agritourism Business for its 2015 ad campaign. Anyone may help with Pumpkin’s expenses through the GoFundMe account for the Stand with Pumpkin campaign, #IStandWithPumpkin, https:// www.gofundme.com/f/f/stand-with- pumpkin?utm_source=customer&utm_ medium=copy_link_all&utm_ campaign=p_cp+share-sheet.
