Delana Taylor McNac, DVM and owner/manager of Dogville Daycare & Boarding, wanted to meet the needs of these senior and special needs pets, in addition to those requiring routine care, when she opened her doors eight years ago. “I knew from my time in private practice that there was a need for a business that could support owners caring for senior and special needs pets,” she says. “I also knew that veterinar- ians would appreciate having access to a place that could board dogs and cats that didn’t need hospitalization, but would benefit from reliable medical support and consistent monitoring. Most of all, I wanted to create a place that could make the boarding experience less stressful overall for healthy dogs and cats.” Today, Dogville Daycare & Boarding is a reality, offering the home-like environment Delana envisioned. With 24-hour staffing, the animals are never alone.
