So many yummy treats come my way! Aunt Pam always hooks me up with some delicious ham, Little Bobby gives me the corn on the cobby, Uncle Fred stuffs me with bread while the neighbor, Mr. Jones, loads me up with turkey bones! A little taste here, and a nibble over there, And nobody is wiser they just fed me more than my share! It tastes so delicious going down my gullet, but if I had known what was coming, I wouldn't have scarfed that pullet! My tummy rumbled, my belly was hard as a rock, so my Mom knew I needed to go in and see Doc! We were greeted by Holly the Tech and when she heard the grumble in my belly she said "What the heck?" Mikaela needed my weight and put me on the scale so they could dose the medications to make me well. Dr. Johnson talked to my Mom and Dad to find out what was making my stomach so mad. After tallying up all the human food I had eaten, it was obvious my GI tract had taken a beatin'. The whole team worked together and came up with a plan to get me feeling like a better man. After giving me meds that help with my sickness, Kathy took me to my parents and said "Hope you get well with a quickness!" I went home to curl up and sleep my aches away and vowed to NEVER eat human food again....or at least until Christmas Day!
