As a lifelong Tulsa resident, community matters to her, and she enjoys being able to bring a smile to the faces around her. After Cohlmia retired from a business dedicated to livening up office buildings with greenery, her house was bigger than she needed. Her daughter did a little research and called her up one day to take her to lunch. “She brought me to Montereau, and I was ready to sign up after one visit,” Cohlmia said. She loved the warm environment, the friendly faces, and the clearly attentive team members. “I moved into an indepen- dent-living apartment almost two years ago, and it’s worked out wonderfully.” As with her life in business, Cohlmia is once again livening up the world everywhere she goes — these days with a young Miniature Schnauzer named Chloe. “She is the sweetest dog — friendly, excited, truly the best dog I’ve ever had. Everyone falls in love with her.” Cohlmia enjoys walking Chloe around Montereau’s idyllic campus, and lately they have been visiting residents in the long-term skilled-care neighborhood, bringing a sparkle of joy everywhere they go. Furry Friends Are Part of the Family At Montereau, pets are an important part of our retirement community! That’s why we have created a pet-friendly campus, complete with our very own dog park—“Le Bark Park.” We invite you—and your pet!—to make Montereau your home for retirement. Give us a shout (or woof, meow, chirp) at 918-416-6824 or visit montereau.net. Pet LOVERS wanted!
